A Proper High
While I was hired to do Social Media Strategy and Content Management, I quickly began art directing and producing their digital campaigns and content needs as well. Through a streamlined process, as a small start-up team, we were able to take people’s recorded sessions and create relatable stories from the data for consumers to discover via internet searches.
At the time they operated in 4 markets, all which had their own “things”. We wanted to make sure we made the viewer have something to connect with, whether it be a match book, a local brand, or even a “10th coffee is on us” punch card.

Proper’s effect and “Good For” systems were color coded, teaching the user to look for the effect color. These IG posts made for great content loops to share on stories long after the post was posted. Think of them as “swipe up” indicators that continuously get engagement.
We didn't want to be like all the other platforms but I understood that we still needed to play the game. “Proper Memes” we could create visual highs that stayed informational at the same damn time.
