A Trip in Grow Room

Set:
Relaxed. Someone else was in charge of this trip and I was practicing relinquishing control.

Setting:
A grow room in North Hollywood with relatively new friends at the time.

This High was long and:

"Set" is the mental state a person brings to the experience, like thoughts, mood and expectations. "Setting" is the physical and social environment. This can play a huge factor on your high. Be mindful of this.

Careful who you trip with - you might end up falling even deeper into your friendship. Tripping with new friends can potentially press the fast forward button.

The smell! Its like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. It was like we had just cannon balled into a glass of orange juice, the terpenes rushing into our noses like water. The flowering plants were exploding with such a potent fragrance, it felt I was walking through a fog of citrusy limonene. The robust smell was so thick, my arm hairs started to looking like the trichomes in front of me. Thats when I knew -

It’s kicking in.

The HIGH of the high :

Am I allowed to say the whole damn day?
(I am because this is my website. 🙃)

This was one of those trips that will become like a fisherman’s tale. You know the one where they caught a much smaller fish than they described because memory is a fickle bitch. I remember it to be effortless, smooth, warm, colorful, silly, introspective, loving, and let’s be real - fucking wild. Who says they got to take a trip in a grow room?

“I’d like to thank the universe. Girl, if you’re listening. I am grateful.” - Me.

We all had our own one on one experience with the plant. It was truly something magical.

The Take Away: Trust.

It was almost as if all the plants became muted festival goers. The fans made them dance in their pots, their fan leaf arms stretched out wide, their trichomes shimmering in the glow of the flowering grow room. Then Daft Punk came out.

jk.

The
Scariest
Part:

I like to keep this part in every Trip Recap as to make sure people remember every trip isn’t going to be rainbows and butterflies. And in all honesty there probably was a “scary part” but the memory is so fuzzy and warm, I can’t remember if there was one.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
