"A stoners guide for the girl who doesn’t smoke”

A safe space for females to ask about anything from microdosing with edibles, to topicals and tinctures. I wanted to help clear the smoke for the cannabis curious woman.

The idea for this event came from the bewildered look I would get when I would tell my girlfriends at happy hour "Oh I'm not drinking. I ate an edible instead." Almost every girl had a horror story about edibles and how they dont like smoking. It made me sad that they felt this way mostly because I knew they were never taught correctly how edibles actually work. Now I understand that smoking isn’t for everyone but I know cannabis has so much more to offer. I wanted to hold an event where women could have a safe space to ask about anything from microdosing with edibles, to topicals and tinctures. I wanted to help clear the smoke for the cannabis curious woman.

The event wouldnt be what it was if it wasnt for the women involved. The space felt like it was pulsing with energy. What was awesome was half the girls loved cannabis as much as I do but the other half was still very new to it. It was an intimate way for women to teach one another. The girls who did smoke brought some of their favorite brands with them and we had brands there for the girls to take home and give microdosing a try on their own.


The afternoon couldnt have been dreamier. When each guest arrived they were asked if they would like something to drink and whether or not they would like it medicated. If yes, I would personally make them the drink so they could see just how much medicated lemonade was used. I would start off the conversation by asking them what their tolerance levels were and base it from there. Since the event was focused on microdosing, the act of ingesting small amounts of cannabis making sure the “high” threshold is not surpassed, in turn ensuring a sub-perceptible sensation that doesn’t completely take over your thought process, I would normally only use 1tbsp of medicated lemonade to 1 cup of regular lemonade.
